How we check, in one paragraph

For each hotel we read guest reviews that mention water (Google, Tripadvisor, Reddit), hotel notes and booking-site listings, the hotel's own site and minibar menus. A first reader flags anything that could count against a hotel, and a second reader checks it. A hotel is a Hydration Hero when sources say water is free and nobody has complained in the last 24 months. Complaints need a dated, first-hand guest report, the hotel's own word or a priced menu. Hotels can request a correction at any time.
